January 2025 President's Letter

Dear Members of the Harvard Club of Dallas,

d.roosevelt

Happy New Year! I hope this letter finds you in great spirits and ready to embrace all the possibilities 2025 has to offer. As we step into the new year, I’m excited to share that our club is starting off strong, with a vibrant slate of events that showcase the best of what we do as a community.

Get Involved in Club Leadership

We’re kicking off the year with a Virtual Officers and Directors Meeting on Tuesday, January 7th. This meeting is a great opportunity for current club leaders to collaborate on plans for the year ahead.

If you have an interest in serving as an officer or director, please reach out to me at david.roosevelt@rooseveltcapitalmanagement.com. We’re always eager to welcome fresh perspectives and new energy to our team.

Reflecting on Recent Successes
Last month’s holiday party at the Aldredge House was nothing short of spectacular. The fellowship was heartwarming, the venue breathtaking, and the entertainment—anchored by the incredible piano artistry of Ben Loeb—was simply unforgettable. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made the evening so special.

I’d also like to recognize the incredible generosity of our members. Many of you have stepped up to support the LaRee Bryant GoFundMe initiative, which aims to help a beloved member of our community during a challenging time. To date, we’ve raised over $5,000 toward our $13,000 goal. This is an ongoing effort, and if you haven’t had a chance to contribute yet, there’s still time to make a difference by clicking the link above.

Looking Ahead to a Great Year
As I reflect on the strength and vibrancy of our Harvard Club of Dallas community, I am filled with gratitude for each of you who make it such a special organization. Whether you’re attending an event, volunteering, or simply staying connected, your involvement enriches us all.

Let’s make 2025 a year to remember. I can’t wait to see you at one of our upcoming events!

In fellowship,

David Roosevelt
President, Harvard Club of Dallas
