January Book Club Meeting
The
Book Club will next meet on Wednesday, January 14, 7:30 p.m., hosted by Eleanor Lindsay. We will discuss A Woman of No Importance by Sonia Purnell. Subtitled, The Untold Story of the American Spy Who Helped Win World War II, Purnell tells the story of Virginia Hall, one of America's greatest spies, who in World War II operated extensively in occupied France.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, our February book will be My Struggle, Book 1, by Karl Ove Knausgard.
