Saint Sarkis Armenian Orthodox Church, Carrollton
Exploring the intersection art, architecture, and religion
in our DFW community
The Harvard Club of Dallas is continuing its new program in which we will hear from the leaders of various religious structures on how their buildings and artwork combine to further their religious mission, inspire the worship of their people, and reflect their spiritual identity.
The Art Circle (a monthly gathering of Harvard alumni and friends passionate about exploring museums, galleries, sacred spaces, and artist studios), the Harvard Graduate School of Design (GSD) Architecture Appreciation Group, and the Harvard Divinity School alumni community invites you to explore the intersection of art, architecture, and religion through this unique cultural experience with fellow alumni Reverend Dr. Stephen Arbogast, Dr. Claire Sahlin, Paris Rutherford, and Ivan Perez-Rossello at the second tour of this series to the Saint Sarkis Armenian Church in Carrollton. We will be met by the church’s leadership for this conversation and will have an informal lunch at a nearby restaurant afterwards.
