About SPACE at Adolphus Tower
SPACE at Adolphus Tower, at the key corner of Main St. and Akard St. (1412 Main Street) in Downtown Dallas, launched September 2023 as a way to connect the creative offerings of the Dallas College School of CAED (Creative Arts, Entertainment, and Design) with the greater Dallas art community. Over the last year, Hoque Global, Downtown Dallas, Inc., The Dallas College Gallery Program, and FGIII Fine Art Productions have collaborated to bring art exhibitions, events, activations, etc., into SPACE, each one attended by hundreds of eager patrons.
The primary objective of this art initiative is to offer promising Dallas College student artists a platform to present their art, paintings, photography, sculpture, fashion, architecture, digital art, and design works within a gallery atmosphere, surrounded by established figures in their art community. It is an opportunity for DC students to receive mentorship from seasoned artists under the professional guidance of Frankie Garcia III, Owner of FGIII Fine Art Productions.
“We are more than a “gallery”… We are an interactive diverse community SPACE meant to educate and empower our next generation of artists.”
SPACE at Adolphus Tower represents a perfect synergy of talent, mentorship, and community.
In December, SPACE at Adolphus Tower will be hosting a holiday art market, called Unbranded. Unbranded will run Thursday–Saturdays, December 5–21. Hours: 12–7 PM (extended to 8 PM on Thursdays). There will be DJs each weekend, and Unbranded will feature a complimentary gift-wrapping station and hot cocoa/coffee bar in partnership with Flying Horse Café.
