December Book Club Meeting
The next me
eting of the Book Club will be on Wednesday, December 11, 7:30 p.m., hosted by Elly Lindsay. We will discuss My Family and Other Animals, by Gerald Durrell. This is a light-hearted telling of the Durrell family’s years on the Greek island of Corfu. Notably, among its characters is Lawrence Durrell who would later become a celebrated writer. If you plan to attend, RSVP to Elly at elly_lindsay@sbcglobal.net. Elly will provide her address to newcomers.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. We will be selecting our 2025 books at the meeting, so there is no read-ahead notice that we can provide.
