FALL VIRTUAL ONLINE WINE TASTING
Ordinary Wines for Ordinary Harvard People
Please join us for a virtual tasting and discussion about wines and wine tasting led by bon vivant and oenophile Ray Loggins ‘16. Then we’ll sample three wines in the “under $20 (or almost class)”
- Gruet Méthode Champenoise Brut
- Chateau St. Michel Chardonnay
- Conundrum Red Blend
Participants who wish to taste the specific wines will need to purchase them in advance. You can purchase these wines at most grocers and large retailers. All three can be purchased for under $60 total. If you want to bring your own wine and just “drink along”, that’s fine.
Ray is the head of HCD’s Food and Wine Special Interest Group. He has toured wineries and tasted wines across California, Texas and France. He is an investor in Cast Wines (Dry Creek Appellation, Geyserville, CA) where he provides strategic insight into the award-winning boutique winery’s products and marketing.
