Join Puerto Rican native, Hilda Rodriguez, and the rest of the Dallas Explorers to visit El Flamboyán, one of the most authentic Puerto Rican restaurants in the metroplex.... with all sorts of Puerto Rican comfort food including mofongo, carne frita, tostones, yuca, chillo (red snapper), pernil (roasted pork), camarones al ajillo (garlic shrimp), chuletas fritas, arroz con habichuelas rosadas, maduros (sweet plantains) and more… and save space for some typical fritters as if you were on the beach - alcapurrias, rellenos de carne, bacalaitos. They've got all the food a Puerto Rican can get nostalgic about. It may be in Wylie, but a 30 minute drive is still closer than Puerto Rico!
