dulany howland receives champion award from zan wesley holmes community center

    Zan Wesley Holmes Community Center hosted a Juneteenth Economic Forum event on Tuesday June 19th, 2018 at the Frazier House in Dallas. The mission of Zan W. Holmes, Jr Community Outreach is to create sustainable pathways out of poverty for young people and their families in Dallas through education and job placement. Dulany Howland, a past President and Director Emeritus, was presented with the Champion Award during this event for supporting Zan Wesley Holmes Community Outreach Center’s cause with his philanthropy, influence, and valuable support.  A hearty congratulations Dulany! Harvard Club of Dallas was well represented at this event with quite a few attendees including Brian Buffington, Grier Raggio, Stuart Jones, Betsey Urschel and John Willding. 

     

    Phong Mark Nyugen, an undergrad student at Harvard is also doing his Public Service Summer Internship at the Zan Wesley Holmes Community Center. His fellowship is being sponsored by Harvard Club of Dallas as part of the Betsey Bradley and Hal Urschel M.D. Community Service Fund. Congratulations and best wishes to Phong.
