November Book Club Meeting
The Book Club will next meet on Wednesday, November 11, at 7:30 p.m., hosted by Susan Jennings. We will discuss The Missing Pages by Alyson Richman. The Missing Pages is a love story, a ghost story and an elegy to the healing powers of books – based on the life, death (and afterlife?) of Harry Widener who died on the Titanic, and whose mother built the eponymous Memorial Library. The meeting will take place at the home of Susan Jennings. RSVP to Susan at granada333@aol.com. If you’re new or forgetful, Susan will provide you with her address.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, our December book will be Solito by Javier Zamora.
