Intersection of Art, Architecture and Religion: Temple Emanu-El in Dallas
This is the fourth installment of the mobile tour program in which the Harvard Club is exploring how art and architecture support religious community. On this day we will be going to the largest synagogue in the South, the Temple Emanu-El which was chartered in 1875. Come join us as we have one of the Temple’s lay leaders (who is also an architect) talk about Judaism, the Temple’s history, and how its award winning architecture and art supports their community mission.
