July Book Club Meeting

The Book Club will next meet on Wednesday, July 8, at 7:30 p.m., hosted by Connie Vecellio. We will discuss As I Lay Dying by William Faulkner. This is Faulkner’s harrowing account of the Bundren family’s odyssey across the Mississippi countryside to bury Addie, their wife and mother. Narrated in turn by each of the family members As I Lay Dying is one of the most influential of American novels of the 20th century. To RSVP and get her address contact Connie at cvecellio@aol.com.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, our August book will be Remember Us: American Sacrifice, Dutch Freedom, and a Forever Promise Forged in World War II by Robert M. Edsel.
