April Book Club Meeting

ook Club will next meet on Wednesday, April 15, at 7:30 p.m., hosted by Susan Bowman. We will discuss The Warmth of Other Suns: The Epic Story of America’s Great Migration, by Isabel Wilkerson. The decades-long migration of Black Americans from the South to virtually anywhere else is illustrated through the stories of three people: what led them to migrate and what they found in their new homes. If you’re new or forgetful, ask Susan for her address. Please note that this month’s meeting is on the THIRD WEDNESDAY.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, our May book will be Flesh, by David Szalay.
