One Night Only!!

Special Performance by Grammy® Nominated Artists, Allison Charney (AB’89) and Ben Loeb (AB’89)

A Night of Song and Music, celebrating a 40 Year Journey to the Grammy® Awards

Join us for an unforgettable ben-loebevening of classical music in concert and conversation with our own Harvard Club of Dallas member, Grammy® nominated conductor and pianist, Benjamin Loeb (AB’89) and his college classmate and fellow Grammy® nominee, soprano Allison Charney (AB’89). One night only, Charney and Loeb are performing together in Dallas to support the Harvard Club of Dallas Community Service Summer Fellowship. Proceeds from the ticket sales and donations will be used to support community service projects in Dallas conducted by a Harvard undergraduate.

Allison Charney and Ben Loeb began their musical partnership – nearly four decades ago -as undergraduates at Harvard under the tutelage of legendary music professor, Luise Vosgerchian. In this hour-long program, they will perform and discuss music from throughout their discography, including their recent Grammy®-nominated album, “ALIKE – My Mother’s Dream”. Selections include music by Leonard Bernstein, Amy Beach, Irving Berlin, Scott Joplin, George Gershwin, Vasyl Barvinsky, and Richard Strauss.

This private event will be held at a home in Preston Hollow, Dallas (address to be provided upon registration).  Doors open at 7 pm, with the one-hour long concert to begin at 7:15 pm, followed by a dessert reception.  Tickets for this exclusive event are $70 each, with Event Sponsor tickets to benefit the HCD Community Service Summer Fellowship at $150 each.  A limited number of tickets are available for this special event!
