2021 Travel to Cuba with National Geographic Photographer, Andy Coleman

Within cities seemingly frozen in time beats the vibrant pulse of Cuba’s most valuable resource: its people. Photography opportunities will be everywhere as we connect with Cubans of all backgrounds on this unique program, learning about their everyday lives and examining the forces that have shaped Cuban culture. From the UNESCO World Heritage sites of Old Havana and Trinidad to colonial Cienfuegos, meet historians and scientists, athletes and artists, entrepreneurs and musicians—and experience this fast-changing island nation through their eyes. The trip will be led by National Geographic Photographer, and experienced NatGeo tours photography instructor, Andy Coleman!  Some trip highlights will include:

- Spend time photographing Cojimar and the former home of Ernest Hemingway, Finca Vigía.

- Enjoy meals at local paladres or privately-owned restaurants

- Tour and photograph the Havana Cigar Factory and interact with its rollers and readers

- Travel by classic car to the colorful town of Jaminitas, and enjoy the beauty of Jose Fuster's ceramics

- Photograph the colonial town of Trinidad
