Dinner & Night Out with Dallas Chamber Symphony at Half Price
We begin the evening with an optional dinner at Tortaco at 6:30 PM then walk over to the Moody Performance Hall (formerly the Dallas City Performance Hall) for a wonderful concert. DCS’s second concert of the season sends you on a musical journey through Europe, beginning with Bartók’s Romanian Folk Dances, an early masterpiece comprised of six, short movements. The orchestra will also perform Bach’s Brandenburg Concerto No. 2, featuring solos from Kyle Sherman on trumpet, Margaret Fischer on flute, Kazuhiro Takagi on violin, and Gina Ford on oboe. Rounding out the evening is DCS' virtuosic strings’ performance on Tchaikovsky’s romantic Souvenir de Florence. Tickets are available at 50% off for regular admissions. Use the promo code "Harvard" at dcsymphony.org. If you would like to sit with the group, please message the host with your seat number(s) and we will try to change your seat(s). Also, please RSVP to Jon Langbert at jlangbert@gmail.com if you are joining us for dinner so we can make an accurate reservation.
