Mark A. Roglán, director of the Meadows Museum at SMU, is an authority on Spanish art, art history, and community art engagement.
The Meadows Museum is perhaps one of the finest repositories of Spanish art in the United States. Roglan's leadership has manifested itself in an array of creative exhibitions, the acquisition of works and in engaging the community through a variety of outreach and educational efforts. In 2010, he was knighted by Juan Carlos I of Spain for his contributions to the arts and culture.
