Annual Mid-Winter Dinner with celebrated Culture and Film Critic, Chris Vognar "The Academy Awards and why we care"

Who said the party's over!  Before putting your holiday finery on mothballs, and banishing it to the nether regions of your closet, cut loose your inner glamour-puss, or debonair-dude, and say "yes, oh yes" to the Annual Mid-Winter Dinner. This year, we will be joined by Chris Vognar, Culture Critic for The Dallas Morning News, co-host of KERA's Big Screen, and the 2009 Neiman Arts and Culture Fellow at Harvard University. Chris will share his experiences at Harvard and his thoughts on "The Academy Awards & Why We Care". Our special evening will be held at the sensational Mercury Grill; home to Executive Chef, Chris Ward, named the "Best Chef in Dallas" by D Magazine, and "Rising Star Chef" by the James Beard Foundation.
