Dallas chamber symphony - transfigured night
Tuesday November 15, 2016 8pm @ City Performance Hall
Join the GLBTQ & Arts SIGs for an evening of magnificent music written for string orchestra as the Dallas Chamber Symphony performs Schoenberg’s Transfigured Night,a romantic and hauntingly beautiful mainstay of the chamber repertoire. The evening’s program will feature principal musicians Margaret Fischer and Jack Unzicker, delivering gorgeous solos by Hanson, Hindemith, and Elgar’s deeply moving Serenade for Strings. The Dallas Chamber Symphony has generously extended half-price admission to club members for this performance.
