Future of Urban Parks in Dallas: Current Initiatives and Planning
Please join us to hear Robert Decherd discuss his current work supporting the development of more urban park space in Dallas. Mr. Decherd, a long-time champion of parks, is behind an ambitious project to create significant new park space in downtown Dallas. Come learn about these efforts, their inspiration and models, and how this work is positioned to drive continued growth in the Dallas region.

Mr Decherd, A.B.'73 is the former long time (21 year) CEO of A. H. Belo Corporation where he is currently Vice Chairman of the board. Graduating from Harvard A.B. '73 he was President of the Crimson and Class Orator. An active participant and leader in civic affairs in Dallas for over 4 decades, Mr. Decherd is now Chairman of Parks for Downtown Dallas.
