Arts SIG: Father's Day with Frank Stella

Join the Arts SIG on Sunday, June 19, at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, as art historian, Janelle Montgomery, conducts a private tour of Frank Stella: A Retrospective. This special exhibition, a collaboration between The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Whitney Museum of American Art, presents a comprehensive survey of one of the most important living American artists. This exhibition presents Frank Stella's career to date, showcasing his prolific output from the mid-1950s to the present through approximately 100 works, including paintings, reliefs, maquettes, sculptures, and drawings.  Frank Stella: A Retrospective underscores the important role Stella's work plays within the art historical framework of the last half century. It provides a rare opportunity for viewers to discover the visual and conceptual connections within the extraordinarily expansive and generative body of work of an artist restless with new ideas.

This exclusive tour will begin at 12:00 pm, and is being offered complimentary to club members.
