September Book Club Meeting
The ne
xt meeting of the Book Club will be on Wednesday, September 11, 7:30 p.m., hosted by Susan Jennings. We will discuss The Cold Cold Ground, by Adrian McKinty. Fast-paced, evocative, and brutal, The Cold Cold Ground depicts Belfast at the height of the Troubles in the 1980s. The novel is the first in the series centering on a Catholic detective, Sean Duffy, working in Protestant Northern Ireland.
The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, our October book will be To the Lighthouse, by Virginia Woolf.
