Clay Jenkins Shares a CEO’s View of Dallas County's Future

Join us for a lunold-redch with Dallas County Judge Clay Lewis Jenkins where we will have the unique opportunity to hear his views of Dallas County, and his vision for the future.  Judge Jenkins assumed office in 2011 and has successfully led Dallas County through several challenges.  
 

As the county’s highest elected official and the fifth member of the Commissioners Court, Judge Jenkins’ has a unique view into county trends, issues and opportunities and has generously agreed to share it with us.  
 

We expect to have ample time at the end of Judge Jenkins’ prepared remarks for questions from attendees.
 

About the Speaker

Clay Lclay-jenkinsewis Jenkins is an American lawyer and politician. In 2011, he began serving as county judge for Dallas County, Texas. Since taking office he has led responses to public health emergencies like the West Nile Virus epidemic, Ebola crisis, COVID-19 and natural disaster recovery from deadly tornadoes and flooding. As chair of the Enroll North Texas Coalition, he led efforts to increase health insurance enrollment for the last seven years to improve public health and reduce the burden on taxpayers who bear the cost for uncompensated care.
 

Since 2014, Judge Jenkins has worked with local faith groups, community leaders, and federal government partners in various efforts to aid immigrant communities. As the Chief Elected Official of Workforce Solutions Greater Dallas, Judge Jenkins is committed to helping more residents get living wage jobs. His 2017 “You’re Hired Job Fest” was the largest employment fair ever in Dallas County.
 

His actions have been heralded for keeping Dallas County safe while getting the economy moving.
