December Book Club Meeting

blithe-spiritcode-of-the-woosters
The December meeting of the Book Club will be on Wednesday, December 8, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Susan Jennings. We will be discussing two items: Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward, and The Code of the Woosters by P.G. Wodehouse. Blithe Spirit, for years one of the longest running comedies in British theater, is a spirited charade about a man with two wives, one living and the other dead. The Code of the Woosters, the club's first foray into the humor of Wodehouse and his immortal mortally humorous characters, Bertram Wooster and his gentleman's gentleman, Jeeves, has to do with a cow creamer.

Please RSVP to Susan Jennings at granada333@aol.com if you plan on attending. Susan will provide her address to any newcomers. Please bring a mask.

The Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month. For those who like to read ahead, you can't, as we will be selecting our 2022 roster at the meeting.
