Hard Hat Tour
The City of Richardson is undergoing urban retrofit in multiple areas. As part of this process, it has formed a public/private partnership with Catalyst Urban Development to reinvigorate its historic downtown along Main Street (aka, Belt Line) and US 75. As a result, a combination of mixed-use development, public open spaces, retail building retrofit, and new public streetscape is underway. Come join fellow alums from the GSD and Harvard Club on a hard hat tour by Catalyst's Paris Rutherford (MAUD'93 and Alumni Council emeritus) of his development Belt&Main, which combines retail, residential, parking and office uses together within 5 story concrete and wood structures.
There will be opportunity to go to a local restaurant afterwards for individual lunch.
