The January meeting of the Book Club will be on Wednesday, January 11, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Connie Vecellio (2705 Maple Springs Blvd., Dallas). We will discuss Bleak House, by Charles Dickens. “Bleak House is one of Dickens’s finest achievements, establishing his reputation as a serious and mature novelist, as well as a brilliant comic writer. It is at once a complex mystery story that fully engages the reader in the work of detection, and an unforgettable indictment of an indifferent society.” For the February meeting, we will read The Moonstone, by Wilkie Collins. Please note that the Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month.
