March Book Club Meeting

The March meeting of the Book Club will be on Wednesday, March 9, at 7:30 p.m. at the home of Barbara Elam (Lindenshire Condos, 5950 Lindenshire Ln. #409).  We will discuss The Children Act, by Ian McEwan, described by The Washington Post as "A svelte novel as crisp and spotless as a priest's collar. . . . Another notable volume from one of the finest writers alive."  For the March meeting, we will read Foucault's Pendulum, by Umberto Ecco, which is a longer book than normal, so get started soon!  Several members are also reading Middlemarch, by George Eliot, on the side.  Please note that the Book Club generally meets on the second Wednesday of each month,
