Lunch with TRAMMELL S. CROW

President, Crow Family Foundation

Dallas recently hosted the largest Earth Day celebration in the world at Fair Park. In four years, Trammell Crow has transformed a tiny city-run street fair into Earth Day Texas, a free two-day festival that involved the entire Esplanade area of the fairgrounds, more than 800 exhibitor booths, live entertainment, art and photography exhibits, and home and gardening workshops, lectures, and panel discussions.

The fourth of six children of real estate icon Trammell Crow, he has been a "token hippie" in Highland Park for most of his adult life. "I've often called myself the crusader of lost causes," says Crow.

Mr. Crow is a long-term supporter of the Texas Conservation Alliance, the Nature Conservancy of Texas, Texans for Lawsuit Reform, Log Cabin Republicans, and the League of Conservation Voters. He supports various non=profit organizations that are active in family planning, education, the environment, community initiatives, and political causes.

Trammell's hobbies include collecting rocks, a love of music and art, and reading.
