Disruptive emerging technologies such as 5G networks, distributed ledgers (blockchains), and artificial intelligence/machine learning systems are already creating new legal challenges--and opportunities--for an ever-widening range of industries. Simultaneously, US intellectual property law itself is rapidly changing in ways that have major implications for technology businesses. US patent law is particularly in flux, pending a forthcoming Supreme Court decision. Please join us for a presentation by Robert Hill and discussion about the complex and important intersections between technology and the law.
