Join fellow Harvard alumni Paris Rutherford MAUD '93 and GSD alumni for a hard hat tour of the growing development in Rowlett followed by lunch at the award-winning Bankhead Brewery.
Village of Rowlett is a mixed-use, transit-oriented development that expands the footprint of the historic center of Rowlett. It is the result of a public/private partnership and a form-based code set up by the City, was recently named best new development in North Texas by the North Central Texas Council of Governments (CLIDE Award) and is a finalist for the Urban Land Institute's Vision Award.
The 20 buildings in this village are at various stages of construction including being complete and occupied, in finish-out stage, and at various phases of framing. The iconic rooftop sign is in place and the development frames the existing historic water tower and veterans' park.
